How do I start Operation: Anchorage?
Once your content has downloaded, you should be able to access Operation: Anchorage from any current save file for Fallout 3. Once you’ve loaded a game save, you should receive a Pip-Boy message stating:
Alert!: A new radio broadcast has been heard across the Capital Wasteland. It sounds like a distress call, but seems meant for certain ears only.
Following this, you’ll get a quest notification for “Aiding the Outcasts.” If you make this your active quest in your Pip-Boy 3000, your World Map will point you to where you need to go.
How do I start The Pitt?
Once your content has downloaded, you should be able to access The Pitt from any current save file for Fallout 3. Once you’ve loaded a game save, you should receive a Pip-Boy message stating:
There are reports of a new radio message being broadcast across the Capital Wasteland. The transmission appears to be some sort of distress call, and gives little information except the location and name of the man making the plea…
Following this, you’ll get a question notification for “Into The Pitt”. If you make this your active quest in your Pip-Boy 3000, your World Map will point you to where you need to go next.
How do I start Broken Steel?
You must play the game for a couple minutes for the Broken Steel content to appear. After a couple minutes, a radio beacon and the questline will become available. To begin the Broken Steel questline, you must complete the main quest by finishing "Take it Back."
With Broken Steel, the main quest of Fallout 3 will have to be completed before the new story unfolds. If you have not completed the main quest, your character will still be able to take advantage of the level cap being raised to 30.
How do I start Point Lookout?
You must play the game for a couple of minutes for the Point Lookout quest to appear. Eventually, you’ll receive a message letting you know that a riverboat has docked at the mouth of the Potomac. Follow your map to reach the riverboat to begin Point Lookout.
How do I start Mothership Zeta?
You must play the game for a couple of minutes in the Capital Wasteland for the Mothership Zeta quest to appear. Eventually, you’ll receive an unintelligable radio transmission which will lead you to an Alien Crash Site. To find the location on your map, make “Not of This World” your active quest.
